This thing is pretty awesome. I never installed an upgrade to my Subaru. Getting the original head unit out was pretty tough, but with some YouTube videos helping me I was able to do it. Installing the new device was so easy. It looks great and runs really well. If you have any knowledge of diy car upgrades this will be a dead simple install. Highly recommend the Subaru head unit after 4 weeks of use.
Installation was a little tricky if you have starlink. You have to remove and transfer the starlink to the new system and somehow tape it to the new system otherwise the front speakers will not work. Over all small issues but super happy with the fit and the sound quality itself 2018 Impreza sport> i wish they made one for F350

Unit is over priced, build quality is not the best, it is plug and play however some features took a while to get working, reversing camera was a pain to set up and wired CarPlay still doesn’t work, screen is a good size but has a slight delay in response to touch, would appreciate being able to customise home screen as weep as boot up screen but unit can’t process those changes, there is also a quite fuzzy sound whenever o try play music. I’m sure that having a more detailed installation Manuel can help first time installers.

I got the radio for the Crosstrek to put in my 2021 Crosstrek Sport.
I had been sitting on making this purchase for a while, debating if I really needed it. I did eventually decide to pull the trigger. The install was a little bit of a process, but went smoothly. Afterwards, the radio was far better than I was expecting! The screen looks much nicer than the stock 6" headunit, and much larger. I mostly use it for CarPlay, but occasionally I use Torque Pro for monitoring vehicle statistics and such. Definitely worth the purchase!
A couple tips for others who install this radio:
The screws holding the radio and attached modules look like standard Philips, but they are a Japanese variant called JIS. Borrow some, order one online, or something. You WILL strip screw heads using a Philips screwdriver! They are extremely tight.
Also, the 2 modules that sit on top of the OEM headunit. Those won't fit above the new one, so I put them below the new one, at a bit of an angle.
